I’m Rafi Putra Ramadhan, a full-stack engineer based in Indonesia. I build practical software for real operational workflows, with a focus on backend systems, product interfaces, and maintainable delivery.

How I work

My work sits between engineering and product execution: understanding how people work, turning that into clear systems, and shipping details that hold up in production.

I care about software that is understandable, resilient, and useful. Good systems are not only technically correct; they make the next decision easier for the team using and maintaining them.

Journey

My path into software came through multimedia and content work — building educational videos, managing content systems, and learning to think in terms of the user first.

That background shaped how I approach engineering: I focus on what the software is for, not just what it does. Over time I moved from CMS platforms to production web applications, first with Laravel and later expanding into Node.js, React, and Next.js.

Today I work as a Backend Developer at PT. Jelajah Data Semesta, shipping product features across HR, attendance, and loyalty platforms, and contributing to internal tooling along the way.

Currently exploring

  • Reliable background processing for transactional systems (queues, retries, idempotency).
  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized web applications on Linux servers using Docker and modern deployment workflows.
